Peugeot Unveils New Peugeot 208

Peugeot introduces its new multipurpose vehicle. More compact than the 207, the new Peugeot 208 lost 7 cm in length, 1 cm in width and 110 kg. Inside, the 208 still offers more space to the rear seats (more than 5 cm at the knees) and a generous trunk (over 15 dm3 in volume).
208 displays a sculpted, athletic style . It takes new aesthetic codes of the Peugeot brand. The 208 has a floating grille, signature bright lights and rear boomerang.
The cockpit of the 208 is built around a small steering wheel, a “Combined head-up”, and a large touch screen. Equipped with Stop & Start next generation e-HDi four of the five diesel engines, new 3-cylinder petrol engines, 1.0 and 1.2 liter VTi and with improved aerodynamics and a lower weight, the 208 displays an average CO2 emissions down 34 g / km compared to the 207.The E-208 diesel HDi is the most sober of 3.4 liters per 100 km with CO2 emissions of 87 g / km. The five blocks of 208 diesel are less than 99 g.
The 208 3-cylinder petrol 1.0 liter VTi consumes 4.3 liters per 100 km and emits 99 g / km of CO2.
The new model Peugeotthe “B segment” will be launched in spring 2012. It will be available in two body 3 and 5 separate doors.
