Picture of car fuel systemA fuel system of a vehicle is an important part out of all of the vehicle’s parts. There are several major parts of the fuel system; fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors, and carburetors. There are also common problems from it.

Fuel tank is the basic on holding tank for your fuel. When you fill up at a gas station the gas goes down the filler tube and into the tank. In the tank, there is a sending unit that will tell the gas gauge how much gas in the tank is. The critical condition of a vehicle is when the clean fuel that will engine life and performance of a vehicle. Fuel injectors have tiny openings, which clog easily so filtering the fuel is the only way to prevent this.

The most common problem face is a clogged fuel filter. You should make sure your manufactures recommendations as to when you should change the fuel filter. This information you can also look on your owner’s manual. You should regularly check the ignition system first, and then the next suspect is the fuel filter.
