Voyager Metro, Another Mobile TV Edition

US Telematics announced they’ll be developing their own digital TV standard that will actually broadcast over WiMax wireless internet technology, known as IPTV. They currently offer the Voyager system, and will be developing a newer 4VDO mobilecast program that will feature broadcast and video programming. Cool thing about this format is it requires Internet to function, so vehicle’s will be “connected”, which opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.

Voyager Metro Edition is a live mobile TV, Internet & Games For Cars, SUVs & Minivans. With 10” Screen With WiFi Hotspot, internal DVD/CD player. It built-in CD/DVD Player, 40gb harddrive, EVDO & WiMax compatible. Designed for use with optional wired or wireless headphones or connection to car audio system with optional adaptor, for spectacular sound quality. One piece unit same size as standard flipdown DVD player. Installs in place of domelight & includes replacement lighting too.
